Is Winning Easy?

Winning is about as simple as doing the steps on the chalk board in this photo.

Seems pretty difficult doesn't it? That's because it is! If winning were easy, we'd all be winners.

Now for the good news. As tough as winning is, it's a whole lot easier than losing, in the long run. Think about this. Constantly struggling, feeling depressed, feeling hopeless, like a failure, or insignificant is much more difficult than the effort that is needed in order to win. It is amazing how our ego, emotions, and natural flesh will fool us into settling for the comforts(initially) of an average or struggling life, instead of paying the price for a much better life.

If both ways are going to be difficult anyway, why not pick our battles wisely, and spend our time, energy, and emotions in the ones that take us closer to winning?
