Christian and Global Leaders Come Together for an
Historic, Groundbreaking Conference
Sarasota, FL (December 06, 2007)—Promising "Aha!” moments from over
15 leading influencers and thinkers in media, politics, faith, science,
business and technology, Church Communication Network (CCN) and I Was
Born to Win (www.iwasborntowin.com) are hosting a live simulcast of an
unprecedented convergence scheduled for January 18-19, 2008, at the
Shrine Auditorium in Sarasota, FL - 600 N. Beneva Rd.
Crystal Cathedral (Dr. Robert H. Schuller) in Garden Grove, California, will
host the live event. Some 2000 - 2500 are expected to be on site live and
another 20,000 – 50,000 people will participate through simulcast.
The local simulcast Rethink Conference emcee will be speaker and radio
host James A. Smith of I Was Born to Win. Conference speakers will include
world leader and former US President George H. W. Bush, justice reformer
Chuck Colson, broadcaster and author Larry King, entrepreneur and media
mogul Rupert Murdoch, atheist turned apologist Lee Strobel, children and
women’s advocate Kay Warren, comedian Ben Stein and others.
A special feature of the conference will be the Rethink Tanks™, where
prominent thought leaders become thought partners. Registrants will take
what they’ve heard and talk about it in breakout sessions. They’ll wrestle
with it, dialogue about it, agree or disagree with it—then take it a step further
and make it their own.

There will also be a “best of the best” recorded section of additional
speakers from the live event. Each speaker will give attendees a tool, a
technique, or an idea… a rare opportunity to get inside the minds of some of
today’s top thinkers and innovators. What have they been thinking about in

grappling with? What are they rethinking?

The Rethink Conference is about understanding the times and knowing what
to do. Dr. Schuller exclaimed, “Never before have we gathered such dynamic

The event is from 9:30am – 5:00pm both Friday and Saturday, January 18
