James A. Smith brings over 20 years experience from the fields of direct
sales, marketing, leadership, and motivation. He is the author of a new
book, I Was Born to Win: How to Think It, Say It, Believe It, & Live It! In
addition to speaking and writing, James hosts a weekly radio show on
personal growth and development.
He stimulates audiences with his charismatic style, humorous insights, and
contagious high energy. Inspiring, hilarious, passionate, optimistic, and
encouraging are words frequently used to describe James. His unique
personality allows him to effectively communicate through hope, humor, and
harmony. James has trained over 5000 people both directly and through
public seminars in the fields of selling and motivation.
From humble beginnings in the small southern town of Plant City, Fl. James
now devotes his life to cheering for others, especially the “perceived”
underdog. In 2005 James diverted much of his focus from a successful
career in the mortgage industry to join the World renowned Zig Ziglar Team
in Dallas, TX as an outside independent speaker. James left the Ziglar team
in 2006 and currently serves people through writing, speaking, seminars,
workshops, consulting, and radio.
Personally, he leads two weekly, Christian based, adult singles classes that
focus on social and personal development. He is an ALL PRO DADS® team
captain and father of one daughter - Cassandra Smith. James resides in
Bradenton, FL.
